0:11 this reminds me of something that happened with a kitten I owned and my grandma’s cat. Before we moved, Grandma and I each had 2 cats- one younger, one older. After we moved, we had to rehome 2 cats and since the younger ones could adapt better, we found them new family’s- my grandma’s 2 or 3 year old was given to an older woman who spoiled her so much, she no longer walks but is carried around on a pillow, while my 1.5 year old was given to a girl who loves cats and had lots of energy to play with her. But before we moved, all 4 cats lived in our old house together. My grandma’s old man loved playing with my little girl until she got fixed- idk why, he came from a shelter so he was fixed long ago- after that, she was just the annoying baby. One day, Leroy came downstairs. He’s a big a cat, so you heard every step he went down. Sweetheart was playing in the living room like a little maniac, but froze and stared at the doorway to the stairs when she heard him. Leroy hops off the last step and Sweetheart just bolted at him. He saw her coming, but his little brain couldn’t get the information to move to his feet in time, so it was like 5 second of him going “rrrrrAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH” before this tiny ball of fluff and chaos slammed full force into him. She knocked him over. He got back up and tried to get away, but she wanted to play. He stopped as she tried to jump at him again, picked her up in his front paws just enough to her all four of her paws off the ground, then body slammed her to the floor. The entire time, she was purring loud enough for me to hear her on the other side of the living room. She was a little terror and very much did NOT live up to her name.

My ex-wife would force my cats into non-consensual cuddling, and kisses!…. Like literally grab and subdue them into being treated as stuffed animals!…. The last straw was when she catnapped my neighbor’s cat, imprisoned it in our home, only to administer her failing to realize that cats are not stuffed animals!…. This is when I realized I married a monster!…. This was, and still is the moment I realized I married a monster!…. This was decades ago, and many of my cat buddies have since died, and gone to cat Heaven!…. I have no regrets leaving her!…. And now?…. My new cat family members don’t even realize the horrors, and abuse I saved them from!…. 🦉

I’m like the Pied Piper of street cats. I’ve got 9 atm. 4 in my house, and 5 in my garage.. I used to be a dog person. Fate had different plans. Idk know why they all chose me but I’m glad they did. Found homes for probably 20 cats and kittens so I’m proud of 9 tbh. They’re all fixed, vaccinated, and very happy. They got the short end of the stick cause their siblings are in great homes, but they think they won. It’s 28 degrees, windy and snowy today. They’re all on their heating pads/heated houses chilling wit me as I write this. I recently had a gnarly tooth ache abscess, then infection of my jaw bone. Gnarly pain to the point I saw stars. They were so worried and sweet. They knew daddy was sick and they didn’t like that.

omg one time I heard the muffled mews of my cat, looked everywhere and couldn't figure out where she had gotten stuck, and finally opened the fridge just because it was the only place I hadn't looked yet, and she was inside. She had snuck in when someone was getting something out and they hadn't noticed. Lucky she was super fluffy, so she wasn't even shivering by the time I found her. She seemed completely unphased by having been trapped in a dark fridge. Dumbest cat I've ever known.
