I wonder if Latte got out of the box on her own. Probably. And her sister Choco was likely sleeping. Nico was so excited about Latte being out of the box that he couldn't control his enthusiasm and played a bit rough with her, so much so that Choco discovered the hiding hole. Latte did seem more rotund than previous kittens entering the tunnel. I'm sure much of it is fur, she resembles Maro more everyday. Used to resemble Mocha. I miss all the male cats, Coco especially!!!! Happy Nico is still around. Would like to see Charo play with the kittens.

I have sad news from the cat world, Billi of Billi Speaks KZbin has passed away. She had an online presence for years using talking buttons. She taught us humans so much about what cats understand and can share. Billi,:s favorite words were MAD, Food, cuddles, love you and she always wanted Dad even when mom was right there. Perhaps with this cat family there can be speech taught. Less breeding more intelligence sharing? Just an idea.

Is Nico thinking his cousin Latte could be his wife? Is that allowed in cat breeding. He reminds me of Coco’s aggressive pursuit of Mimi. Chart and Mimi seemed concerned but then figured it was fine.

No. In-breeding is not the aim of responsible breeders. Nico was probably neutered soon after this, when he became old enough to have the snip, at 4 months.
