They aren't stupid.. my first cat watched me wipe the floor and then began to copy me. She always wanted to do what I was doing.. I even had to have an extra Bible close by (on the bed). So when I was reading it she had one too. Her little head was always on it. It was her favorite pillow. And to top things off.. when I fell behind and stopped reading it, She brought me into the bedroom and began scratching at it for me to pick it up and read it.
