My only disagreement -- do in fact raise the level of armor and weapons at the smiths -- BUT only at low level. The lowest levels are so very cheap, usually 40 gold, then 60, maybe 100 or 200 gold when you get to like level 10. -- after that they start to sky rocket (like the spells). but yeah, invest in 1 or 2 levels at low cost; early on you can stop there. So its partly what Lion says - investing LOTS of gold is sort of silly. BUT if you only have a level 2 weapon, not only is it not very good for anything so you wont enjoy it as much, but then when you do find an extra item that boosts it 3 or 4 levels for free, now after that if you did want to increase its level at some point for actual gold -- well it only gave you the CHEAP levels free (maybe saved you 60 + 80 + 100 gold for 3 levels), and the level you are at now will cost 300 gold or so to increase a level. So i always go and increase my lower level items if they seem good at all, get them to about lvl 7 to 10, then when you do find an upgrade in the wild -- the upgrade will save you 300 + 600 +1000 gold maybe. Its kind of like in Pokemon when you get an item that can just automatically give your creature a level instantly - its silly to waste than on a level 5 pokemon, level your guy up to a higher level, and when you give him an auto level it represents a much larger XP investment, a level that would waste more time naturally. Same here, a free upgrade is worth more on a mid tier item than a low tier item. Dont waste it bringing an axe that you like from lvl 4 to lvl 7. Get it up to lvl 9 first, and let it increase that axe to lvl 12 for you - making the axe great and you save some serious gold. Id also focus on only a few weapons and armor, as you know there are some you just wont really ever want to wear. No sense wasting cash on items that just wont be equipped. That's my take on it. But i wouldn't say "never upgrade at a blacksmith".

How can i incrase mana to use the spells?

It's kind of a pain... you have to get more spells. Every new spell you get gains 2 more maximum mana. Once you get all the spells, that's pretty much as much as you're going to get.

That's the Wraith armor. You get it by completing Pundora's Box and The Dragonblood quests. :)
