CAT/SR/a1 vs. Dead Air Mask & SilencerCo Sparrow. Is the Hype real?

Great video. It can be extremely hard to tell the difference on video of perceived sound. Maybe a conclusion segment of the shooters feedback.

It’s extremely close between the CAT and the Mask. I’d have to say the CAT by a nose. There’s very little perceived differences between them all, on the rifle. They all do a great job. If I had to choose one, and only one, I’d probably choose the Mask. Not because it’s the quietest, but because of how well it’s built, and lack of restrictions. But, I’ll try and do a video, where you get some muzzle sounds. Just a little tough, for reasons I can’t really get into.

The cat sounded noticeably quieter. Is it that noticeably different in real life or are they much closer?

They’re all pretty damn quiet. The Sparrow’s no slouch. But, I’d have to give the edge to the CAT. But, I had to listen to the video with headphones, to be able to hear a difference. So, for literally half the money, I’d go with the Sparrow, if only shooting on a rifle.
