Well to be fair had the cat not been allowed to go out in the first place this wouldn't have happened. I understand he might want to give his cat freedom and all that but there are many different ways of achieving freedom for the cat without sacrificing the safety of his cat. People have a real problem with not learning this, and then are upset and distraught when their cats have been attacked by other animals, hit by cars, or end up dead. In the end they took on the responsibility of having the cat and if they love the animal as much as they say they do, then they'll do everything to keep it safe and they don't, and that's the part that pisses me right off.

Please, Please, Please no matter what your kitties tell you they shouldn’t be outside. They can be hit by a car, mauled or killed by a predator or unfortunately nowadays wind up with FIV (Feline AIDS). All your cat needs to be is bitten or scratched by a cat that has it and your cat has it. If you love your baby keep them in ❤

I love how committed and gentle Scott is with these every animal that he interacts with. The world needs to have more vets like him and I just love watching him and I'm so happy that savvy made it and is healthy now and hopefully she stays away from the dogs. It has been an amazing career that he has had and the creatures that he has saved there's definitely a place for special people like him so please keep up the great work

So glad Savy the cat made it. She is very lucky. I lost my healthy, beautiful 18 year old tabby, Zoe, to dog attack on 17 Sept 2014. Had just come home from work for lunch, greeted her on the front porch in her favorite sun bathing spot; I gave her a scratch & a kiss, then went inside the house. Moments later, I heard screams in the backyard, ran outside to find 2 stray terrier mixed, one had Zoe by the neck & was shaking her. I yelled & charged them, they dropped her and she died in my lap on the way to emergency vet. I could still smell the saliva on her fur. It was one of the worst things to ever go through. Still haunts me to this day & this episode was a bit hard to watch because of it. I've been robbed at gunpoint before and I'd rather go through that a thousand times over than to *ever* have to go through this type of trauma to another pet. Today, I have 3 gorgeous girls, all rescued from the streets. Suki & JiJi are my tuxedos, and Bijou is solid black. *They are & will forever be indoor cats.*

I so sorry you went through that. We had a neighbour's kid kick out cat to death it was awful we couldn't get into his yard and kept yelling at until his father came out and he just picked our cat up and threw it over the fence and told us to keep it in our own yard. The CCTV showed the kid walked into our house and took our cat outside by his back leg. So our cat wasn't even in the wrong. Our cat was a companion cat for my son with mental health problems which made it worse. The police did nothing about and nor did the rspc. Very sad time.

My parents left me in charge of the pets while they took a week long trip. I remember thinking just please don’t let them die under my watch. I left the two pooches outside on long leashes and when I I got back from work I went straight to check on them and heard the younger one frantically barking. I picked up my pace to a run with an awful sinking feeling only to see the elderly one with both paws and her neck tangled to a piece of wood. Was a horrendous sight, couldn’t tell if she was breathing because her tongue was out and blue with saliva and foam dripping. I think I got to her just in time, I had to run back in to retrieve some scissors but managed to cut it all off. They took a great gasp of air once free and I collapsed to my knees just stunned

I’m so sorry that happened to your fur baby. My Lord that must have been so horrifying for you I can understand why this must have been hard to watch. I’m so afraid that would happen to mine that they are indoors only. My tabby Suki was a rescue my grandson wanted she was supposed to be an only cat. JB was rescued off a car lot and given to me by my grandson. I never had cats before but now I love them so much. That’s so wonderful that you have rescued your three I wish I could see a picture of them.

Texas, Queensland! Told my husband we need to move there, as we are in Texas, USA. We had a wonderful experience in the Caymans. We went to a turtle farm and our son got to pick one up. A few years later a hurricane came through and washed all of the turtles out to sea, they had to start the program over. They eat turtles in the Caribbean.

I don't know when it became the norm for cats to be roaming around day and night....but I can honestly say that I am disgusted by that practice!!! Pet cats should have to be under the same rigid and lawful rules that our pet dogs have to obey. I have witnessed way too many close calls for the poor drivers who've had to risk their own lives to avoid hitting somebody's PET cat on the loose outside!!! Everything that pet cat needs is INSIDE the owners' homes. There is NEVER any need for the cats to be outside scaring drivers and tearing up folks lawns and flowers!! Keep them INSIDE if you really love them and want to be considerate to the rest of us. Thanks!

20:30 This is why I make sure my dogs aren't going after cats. I make sure they're trained to ignore cats, plus I make sure their hunting instincts get satisfied without needing to harass some poor small animal. With this precaution my dogs ignore small animals, but I still wouldn't let them run free in case they actually do go after a small animal since sometimes things can go wrong. Like a horse I knew. He was the sweetest, but unfortunately a spooky sneeze led me to be kicked.

I remember my parents used to have a picture of a giant turtle (tortoise?) that was big enough that 3 kids were on his back near his neck and barely took up any room on his/her shell. That was in the 1970's, when I was too young to remember being there. It was in the Los Angeles area. I remember the picture, and that I wondered why that zoo hadn't released him/her back to the wild? I can't imagine it was good for him/her to be in that small space and for kids to ride...
