This made me laugh but broke my heart too--that was my cat when I found her as a neglected stray. She was just skin and bones, which is why I never deny her food, even if it's just a teaspoonful. I think animals who have experienced starvation never get over their anxiety about food.

I have a cat like this. I got her when she was a kitten of the street together with other 2 , those 2 didn't let her eat so I always had to give her food separate of the others , but she became stressed cause of that and always ate in a hurry and became very obsessed with food. Those 2 left and she was the only one that remained but she acted like this for another 4 years until she finally stopped .
