Its been commented already but the video energy sucks after those charges. Like ya omg thats fuken wild to get snake eyes into snake eyes but who wants to play with people who just get completely dejected after things don't go their way. Definitely a learning experience for za guest. You're featured on a channel, you're playing a swingy board game with hundreds of dollars of models, laugh it off. Otherwise, shoutout to Heretic Dave for actually running the NORKEN (first one I'm p sure). And in general running units that not every single channel does every single time. ALSO: theres is SUCH a satisfying feeling watching a Guard player use the abilities. Its night and day army wise. Daring Recon, Reroll Battletanks, Omg so good. Im about at 1:11:37 and the only thing is Sly Marbo inculdes himself in his aura so after he gets shot at and survives, he can shoot his ripper pistol and run to cover again. Actually the best Guard Player on YT. Tired of watching Mordian Glory make wild claims, never try any of them, run 3 Squads of Kriegers with Marshalls every game while screaming "Reject the Meta" L00l makes no sense. Great performance Dave.

I too have lost a world eaters land raider turn 1 to guard shooting. Definitely doesn't feel great, but we still took many skulls.

I’ve lost a land raider to Tau first rolls of the game from 2 man broadsides with rail guns first dice roll.. did 10 devastating wounds and 7 normal damage… needless to say they are brutal with how insanely well they hit and damage, along with things like stealth suits allowing rerolls to wound rolls of 1. I think it’s basically a 2shots each, +2 (heavy, guided) +4 reroll wounds of 1(from stealth suits) str 12 D6+1 damage dev wounds. Ignoring modifiers to hit rolls. It’s pretty dumb I’ve lost many units that shouldn’t die quickly to them. Lost a norn emissary turn 1 in a 1000 pt game to tau, effortlessly. Blew my mind.

@@HereticDave40k Yeah, that works unless the model just is to big and can be seen. They have an insane amount of utiltiy from marker light drones, line up some stealth suits to guide for them or weapon support systems. Played Mortairan into it one time. He took like half the army worth of shots, but Mortarian died turn 1 on me before too from Tau shooting. Cant use any strats to protect him from them. Being able to ignore modifiers to their hit roll, ignore cover if guided, if you have it set up correctly reroll 1's on stealth suites guiding, and . MY buddy likes to run 3 2x broad side groups quite frequently. can really only do so much against that firepower. If you are able to be seen. Its annoyed me to no end, i am not sure how to even last till turn 4 most times. Usually his front suits have the 4+ invl, his back field stuff has weapon support systems and such. Darkstrider is annoying since you cant deepstrike within 12 inches of him. So he can screen a large amount by himself. I tired more of a horde style army, but 3x 3 crisis suits with commanders will rocking missile pods and/or blasters take care of them usually in a turn. since rerolling 1's from the commander. So far my favorite was deep striking 6 death shroud, making a charge into 6 crisis suits, me rolling horrible maybe killed 1?, and then dying in his shooting phase because they ignore the penalty to big guns never tire with weapon support systems. super fun times have been had against Tau, if you can tell.

As a World Eater's player I know the excruciating pain of failing charges hahaha. Few changes to the list I would personally make are, Get rid of the land raider as its a waste of points especially to put 3 eightbound in it and if I want some shooting bring forgefriends instead. Also the berserker glaive enhancement is a MUST HAVE on the Master of Execution, being able to get D3 extra attacks and damage(potentially 5dmg melee) with full re-rolls vs characters and precision/dev wounds is way to juicy to pass up. When I run MOE he will regularly just pick-up what ever character I charge him into. Last weekend I played vs my buddies Tau and he solo'd Longstrike, an enforcer battlesuit and Shadowsun hahaha Solid game regardless

Thanks for the pointers, I'll bare them all in mind for next time :) im already looking at ditching the land raider in favour of 2 predators for that bit of long range fire support. Smaller foot print means they're easier to hide.

Unlucky James! Might consider bring Angron in via rapid ingress! I do this every time and he always picks up more than his points in models before he falls! If you want some firepower on the table, consider War Dogs! Barely £50 for two that are easy to magnetise and bring the pain. I Stick them in tactical reserve when using the Brigands to come on in Melta 4 range and 9 times out of 10 I’m removing vehicles etc! Absolute bargain of a kit and will serve you well to support the Angry boys!👍

also worth noting WE only get their +1 A, S when *they* charge, not after moving into engagement range or when they're charged, and Angron selects his ability in the WE Charge phase, so the +1 to charge would have carried over into the fight against the bullgryn. Def break out Kharn, he needs to reap some skulls!
