Bottom level of the dragon caves have stairs going up in random outer locations, that lead to the treasure rooms btw.

Yep, the teleport worked (till the devs see this). I would buy one of those monstruous +5 rings. Dusk surely has a recipe for cool dragonscale armor she can craft with the scales. And if you manage to get enough components to Diamond coat a +2 katana on the CVC machine Dusk, could have the strongest weapon in the cataclysm world (evil laughter)

Note to self... if you are going to butcher a dragon ... bring lots of drums... Steel Barrel Drums muahahaha Also.. I would make SURE to get all the teleport scrolls I could get... would be so much easier to travel to there via scroll ... and if you can set different forges as targets (probably have to go there first) and then have multiple waypoints to use... you could go back to get your brother then come back via a scroll much easier

With all that dargon blood you could buy 500 cigarettes. You should try far hand and see if you can push/pull the mass of items. Make sure to backup in case it crashes, not that I’ve ever had it do that.

Something of note with magical light is that you can drop it on the ground and (last I knew, might have been changed) throw it like a chemlight. Useful for certain situations.

Can confirm, still works unless it was changed in the last couple of weeks. Also works with some other spells, like fire spark can be thrown to light absolutely anything on fire.

Yep, I always found that helpful, it's better than carrying glow sticks around.

See if you can buy a potion that increases your int because I think that will help with the prices. Also see if there's an endless flask for sale so you don't need to keep lugging around the 200 liter tank. Lastly if you don't see any enchanted armor for sale may be see if you can buy the regular set and enchant it yourself. I would like to see Dusk try at least a little bit of alchemy and the like :)

The endless flask provides endless alcohol, but I'm pretty sure it can't literally store an unlimited amount of any liquid Edit: I checked the code, for all of it's base stats it just copies from a non-enchanted hip flask, and it doesn't seem to make any alterations to how much it can store. All of the magic items for storing more stuff are in an entirely different file altogether, and have pretty clearly defined values of what they can hold.

The way I've dealt with dragons in the past with magiclysm is aa follows: speed enhancing spells like wind running, synaptic static (not an option for Dusk, but the rest should still apply),, etc, then invisibility, then bravely unload any belt fed machine gun on fully automatic at dragon

Holy shit you actually did it. I take all my warnings back; I guess I simply didn't realize the raw murder potential of stairs when writing my last comment. Also kinda weird the dragon was right there of all places, maybe it tracked you when you left? Also just in case you didn't know you can use '>' to inside a container in the shop/inventory menu and '+' or '-' to individually select or deselect items from a stack. It's probably best not to spend that full barrel of blood in one place (or even one shop restock) if you can help it. Also check to see when/if everything spoils; obviously the meat and probably the hide will relatively quickly, but I'm not sure if the blood/scales go bad at all.

In this situation the dragon wont move to attack you, its a bug with experimental Z levels, its technically next to you and should be able to attack, but the vertical difference means its also technically two tiles away one northwest, and one up. With no reach attack of its own, it will just sit there. Personally glad you didn't try melee combating it without the cheese though XD They are very dangerous indeed

I'd suggest running back to sell it BEFORE dragging the dragon parts back.

To make the best use of Dusk's combat skills make sure to drop her backpack and fighting stronger creatures like the wyrms or hornets turn the learning of dodging back on so it levels up higher. With almost no encumbrance Dawn should be able to fist fight a skeletal Brute with little to no damage. Also the wasps are perfect for training your dodging and fighting skills since they train from skill 6 and up.

Luck the magic and Drag-on! 😆 Please tell us you're returning to clear out the lair, for all the scales and other little dragon loot. Now that you can teleport with a dragon's hoard and know how to kill an adult black dragon (btw. coolest thing I've seen in a long time! - I think you've won Cataclysm, lol).. those smaller ones are as good as Dinarii in the bank. Especially with the stronger gear you're gonna get.

That dragon kill was perhaps the cheesiest thing I’ve ever seen in cataclysm. You destroyed something leagues stronger than a shoggoth with a beginner weapon made of BONES AND STRING. part of me is angry and part is just plain impressed.
