Thank you for this information and video. We purchased a new 2022 Coachman Catalina Legacy 323BHSDCK in June of last year. The sink was cracked in a corner, the fridge did not seal properly, the roof had water intrusion, and one of the coax video cables was PIERCED by a screw (the cable for the front room TV). These were fixed by the dealer though It took nearly ALL winter to do it. Another thing I MUST comment on is the manufacturing debris that was left IN the coach by the factory AND the dealer! Metal drill shavings, wood shavings, sawdust everywhere, even down into the floor vents. Absolutely disgraceful the amount of junk that was just not cleaned out! Come on, GET WITH THE QUALITY CONTROL program! Other than that we've been happy with our 'Lina. Thank you!

To ALL Makers: clean up after yourselves!!! Jesus, is it that hard? Run a vacuum and clean up the metal and wood shavings. Good Lord.

We bought a 2022 Catalina Summit 7 Series 184bhs 2 weeks ago at Lazydays Tampa Florida, when I did the inspection I found about 15 areas of defect for that reason we did not take it out from the dealer and prefer to leave it for repair. Several days later Lazydays calls me and notifies me that the RV had leaked water damage. The entire trim from the kitchen to under the Murphy bed had been swollen by water. The techs said everything was sealed and I took the RV with the water damage to wait for the parts to come and Lazydays to replace them. I went camping and when I connected the city water to the RV a water leak started coming from under the bunkbed. I took a video of it and sent it to the Lazydays rep. I had to put a plastic container under the liquid and every 5 hours take out the container and put it back because it fills with water. I was also able to realize that the entrance door is crooked and that is why the lock does not close, in fact you can see from the outside to the inside and from the inside to the outside through a quite noticeable crack. Apparently this Catalina when they built it made many mistakes in its construction. It also has loose unfinished parts. Truly a total disaster. This is my second RV, but the first one I've bought new and apparently I got a factory defective. What would the Coachmen company do in this case that is happening to me? Are the wheel wells metal lined to protect the unit in the event of a tire blow out? My truck has the factory tow package and a tow rating of 9,340 lbs - Would this work for a 263BHSCK unit that has factory auto level and 200 watt solar?

Off subject, But does anyone know the whereabouts of the 6 foot tall fiberglass Dalmatian that was used in the back of a pickup to promote the Coachman brand in the 70’s and early 80’s. It came from Flannigans Rv in Dekalb IL originally and was donated to Coachman from the Chapter 92 Gadabouts Coachman Club when Flannigans quit carrying the Coachman franchise. If it still exists at the factory I would love to see it again. My dad used to ferry trailers from the factory to the Northern Illinois dealers.

I just bought a 2024 catalina 164BH. Wondering what is the thickness of the roof decking? I'm going to mount solar panels and debating if I should try to locate the studs or just mount on the decking/osb ?
