As a life long musician, and singer... full time beachman... I use to look forward to hearing the Catalinas when they came down to the beach.. at times we competed for the same audience..... when I wasn't performing, I enjoyed getting out with my beach friends and hearing the bands that came to town... over several years, the Catalinas became my favorite.
