Catalyst Flow - Bboytech Modular Journal

On this episode of Bboytech Modular Journal, we are taking a look at the Emblematic Systems - Catalyst Flow. This is just day 1 checking it out but I wanted to give my thoughts on it and talk about this patch.

About the Catalyst Flow
The Catalyst uses a crossfader with resistive contact strip technology
The Catalyst Flow uses the Inno Fader - contactless tech.
The expander allows for CV control over the crossfader with attenuator and inverter., Retrigger input for the motion recorder, and Access to the audio bootloader.
8 outputs offering 16bit precision CVs in a range from 0V to 10V or -5V to 5V
8 scenes per bank, 8 banks in total
8 LED-backlit encoders for precise parameter editing
Crossfader for scene interpolation with a convenient 60mm of travel
Copy/Paste function for scenes
Crossfader motion recording for up to 20 seconds
Physical animation of the crossfader position
Crossfader:
- 41.5mm travel
- 256 points resolution
- 4 million cycles operating life
- non-contact technology
