That event must have been a massive success for The North Face, with half of climbing KZbin attending and creating content all on their own...

The North Face seems to sponsor a few climbing events and does pretty well. Had all expenses paid food and even free gear from an event in a gym close to me.

@@eurekaflows I think it would have been very unfortunate if all of them had topped all of the wall. It's about the challenge and the potential to fall, not about everyone performing to standard xyz. Also, get out of your armchair and on the wall ;-)

This event was so annoying. Free tickets completely oversold capacity and they were still letting people in without tickets in the morning which meant nobody could get in in the afternoon. People travelled from across the country to be stuck in a queue and unable to get in

Sam - your breakdown of the route was so appreciated, I wished I’d seen the same sort of commentary at the olympics. Great work!

I love his take on climbing without glasses. I've only just started climbing without mine as they prevent me from sticking close to the wall and I definitely agree it helps with the heights not being able to see far away clearly

i think everyone has his own perspective to share around this and all of them are good, and we all can enjoy and learn from it, you dont need to be 100% successful, actually for a lot of normal people like me is gonna be more relatable seeing a youtuber no pro climber like hanna, someone who enjoys climbing too and wants to progress on it and also feel the fear of trying something scary or new and overcome it

Any reason they are spraying the top surface of the water? Is that to break the surface for a softer fall?
@tallky

It's so you can judge where the water is
@graydeotto2820

@lolpluslol35
@lolpluslol35 5 ай бұрын
I've heard that such a soft stream is only to judge where the wateris. It takes either a harder stream or bubbles/stream from under water to break it. Falling objects are also an option, but thats not relevant now. Source: tiktok of an olympic diver explaining it. So don't blame me if I'm wrong.
