Great video Wiley. I agree with you regarding the sky lounge! I often tell people looking for their first cat that if it doesn't have a sky lounge, it's not a serious contender! Prove me wrong!

@@catamarancentral well, I am expecting commissioning in France next April. I have several months of post factory upgrades. When my boat is ready, I will wait for proper season to cross the Atlantic and bring it home. Perhaps in October. Given that home is in the Northeast US, I may leave it in the Caribbean for the winter. I didn't reach that far with my planning. Do you have a suggestion for a location that combine safety, affordability and good cruising grounds to park a cat in the Caribbeans? Ultimately I am planning to go full time cruising with my wife and daughter.

Thank you! I got delivery this March and presently she get lots of work and prep for season on western Europe and Atlantic city crossing after November 1st. She is a stunning vessel. I can't wait.. Yes, delivery was on time. I ordered via ACY and had a positive experienced. My salesman David Widham was fantastic to deal with.

My wife and I are planning to go to the Annapolis Boat Show this year to see a few other options. She is really excited about the comforts of the Elba though.

Great presentation as always. I absolutely love your attention to detail in every video you make. You managed to present a lot of information in your video's as well as making them very pleasant to watch. I have become a fan of the recent line of Fountaine Pajot catamarans starting with the Helia 44 (which is currently the boat on my wishlist). The semi-raised helm station of mostly the cause of this, I think it is the most conveniant place to control your boat while still being able to communicate with both the people in the cockpit or salon as well as those on the (semi) fly bridge. As for the Elba 45, the one thing I am a bit confused about is the split galley arrangement with the stair case down being in between the actual cooking stove and the prep station in the rear. Somehow, this feels more akward compard to the U-shaped galleys found in the Helia or Saba. Since I have not had the pleasure to check this out myself, could you give me your opinion on this arrangement? Would be much appreciated.

Great job. Three contenderes coming up for this guy Nautech 46 fly, Elba 45, 49 Saba, see what a year or 2 does for price and budget. retirement date is set in 9 months, and off we go. like your style be in touch then. I dont know a boat broker so you'll do lol.
