even all these years later, i get chills watching these scenes, to the point that i could literally watch roger howarth and erika slezak read the phone book to each other, they're just that good. two of the best actors to ever be in daytime. and what strikes me about todd is that even though his character was in many ways defined by abusive romantic relationships and sexual violence, he found the closest thing he could ever find to "redemption" in two platonic relationships - viki and starr. of course he loved blair and tea, each in different ways, but they never "saved" or "changed" him in the way that soaps in particular so often show the romantic love of a woman "saving" a man. todd was driven to be better not to win someone's love but to earn the respect of his daughter and his sister, and they ended up being his two most profound relationships.

Yes! His relationship with Starr is one of the best father/daughter relationships on SOAP’s. IMO!!!! Vicki and Todd are 100% amazing!

THE eyes, smile, expressions, nuances, height, the big hands, the walk, the body language, the electrifying connection between REAL(RH) Todd, Vicki, Blair and his children esp. Starr was NOT there when TSJ was Todd, not of it I watched more clips and full episodes of Trevor's Todd on line he could get even close to Roger's essence or electricity, not even close... OLTL/ABC should have NEVER, NEVER recast Todd! Just had him disappear for 8 years!!

Agreed they should have never recasted him but it's too late now. I prefer it this way as now Todd can finally take his life back and make sure this town forget the miserable years they had to endure with Jr. It's for the true Prince of Darkness to return.

Todd and viki best sibling relationship ever, their flashbacks are amazing. to bad the cut off the part where she said I love u ur closer to my heart then my own children god forgive me that's true. amazing .viki.always was his rock and him begging her to believe in him bc everything will be ok. tears in my eyes. it's sad gh isn't doing a better job with their rip off if this storyline. what answers will they come up with why jason was taken. unless I missed it bc it's dragging on forever . Faison and helena wanted a perfect hit man is that why ? then why not make jason the is why go through the trouble of getting drew ? bc he had Jason's face a car accident thwarted their plans . I'm so confused on that one .

My mom was too. She always told me as a kid, when Victor’s Todd was all I knew, that he wasn’t the original Todd. Then when he came back, she was so happy because even though Victor was amazing as Todd, he never compared. I went back after RH reappeared and watched old videos and I have to agree.

I don't know how there can be any RH bashing if you watch this clip. He is a great actor. Watch 93 Todd and 2001 and you cannot even tell it is the same actor. He is using a different voice, that is what actors do. He is not classically handsome, that gives him more range to be a character actor. And his best chemistry is with Erika Slezak. It's a shame the writing for him went so off course. GH, pick him up!

Not a fan of the plastic good looks of a lot of soap stars. RH is very masculine looking, very sexy! Not to mention the best actor in daytime and easily could have been in movies or written his own ticket anywhere. Lucky for us he stayed with the medium of soap operas, where you can build a history of a character like no other.

Out of everyone including his kids tea & blair , viki is Todd's rock. No matter what. I wonder during the dna tests if victor jr slipped up when he said he locked the door with Marty. Everyone knows todd ordered powell to do it. I really hope the writers were very smart & did that purposely. I love when viki was leaving she went " whoo" like omg this is insane.

I posted somewhere on the internet around the time he came back to the show. I won't say the name of the site, but posters could not say whether liked TSJ or RH as Todd. I remember getting trashed on that site for saying I missed Todd's scar. People accused me of saying being sneaky about saying which actor I preferred. I did prefer RH as Todd. But sometimes I'd post supportive comments of TSJ. I got trashed for that. Then I'd get trashed for saying something that complimented RH as Todd. Todd was the reason I started OLTL. Star was just a baby when I started watching. Todd had a parrot. He paid Tea 5 million to marry him to help in a custody suit against Blair. I watched clips of Spring Fling and that kind of ruined something about Todd for me. But I've gone back to liking the character. I think the character has been redeemed.

I was just saying poor Todd! Imagine being totally locked out of your life and thrown in jail for 8 years and then no one believes it's you. That's a really dystopian and frightening thing to happen to someone. Everyone around him was in such shock and focused on their own reaction but They didn't think about how traumatized and devastated he was.

RH was not boring at all on ATWT they allowed him to show more layers of his awesome talent! Don't get me wrong he was great as Todd, but he was not 3/4 dimensional. I have always wondered why he never went to big screen. I have watched him since 1992 when he was on Loving and I did find him to be so expressive even back then and he has such beautiful eyes for a man! HRH was head to head with Tony Geary and Stephen Nichols!!

atwt is my favorite soap, but it always have the problem of giving some of the show with most fascinating and entertaining characters the most boring children. paul ryan (roger's character and the son of the legendary james stenbeck and barbara ryan) was literally one of the most boring characters on the show so he didn't have much to work with, in fairness. but i think he did an okay job. i loved his scenes with jesse lee soffer as will.
