Nothing wrong with repeating trails... always something different. Nature is always changing.. Figures the only place you fell was a paved roadway and not in the rugged areas.. Awesome hike, awesome views... Glad you had a great solo Alan!!! 👍😎👍

Yeah, I parked next to the fell, on the roadside and the running water off the fell had frozen over night, so as soon as I stepped onto the road, I was flat on my face lol! Great job, I love that walk and also love how all the crowds disappear straight off Catbells on the way down and all of a sudden you have got it all to yourself on Maiden Moor and High Spy, cracking views as well. I remember this walk, as it was the first big one after my hernia operation, I walked 10 steps from the car, stepped on to black ice and then fell flat on my face lol!
