The only decision I would question was on the queen, which was the first card that was placed by the contestant. With three power chips, I would have chip it there. The four was a gut call there. You can go to 12 and play for the 9 or go to 14 and play for the 7. I have no problem on going to 12 there. If you get another low card, you make an adjustment on that hand. The luck part came when it went ace-nine-ace at the end.

@@hsupower On the 4, you never ever put yourself in an extra bust position plus making two aces required. To me thats a terrible idea.

@@Matthew6418 That is why I would never play the queen at the start. I would chip the queen, be down to 2 chips and go from there. Then, I would play for an ace, two, or three. Priority #1 is the ace, which gets you 21 for more money. Priority #2 is the three to get to 11 and make that hand a one card game there (play for a ten or paint). Paint equals a face card. Priority #3 is the two to get to 10 and make it a one card game (higher probability that you need two cards to get to 21). With a power chip used on the queen, the four can go anywhere in my opinion. It comes down to a gut feeling whether a nine or a seven will come first. In the end, the contestant got lucky when it went ace-nine-ace after the four was played on the eight which got that hand to 12.

One thing that drives me crazy on the bonus round is for contestants to play a ten or paint on an a hand at ten with power chips available. The only time you play ten or paint on a ten is when the contestant is out of power chips.
