The church I went to when I was younger. We had Sunday service and Sunday school. It was a great congregation. And we had food and camaraderie after the service was over. So it was really like a feel good atmosphere. The best memory I remember was when we served food at a homeless shelter. We were there the whole afternoon. So my feet were literally ready to fall off. But I loved it. And I would do it again. Churches today are many that want to fit in with the world and adapt into it. It gives off like a fun type socializing buddy buddy and all that stuff. But when you get to the nitty gritty, it’s like they give out cupcakes. Sweet sugary lessons that are to give you like confidence that you have your best life going for you. I wasn’t always the devotional type I am now. But when I really got into it, I appreciated it. Because it always gave the full truth. That we are deserving to be given our punishment, but God sent his only son to be the sacrifice for all our sins. Wouldn’t that wake a lot of people up. We just want to hit the snooze alarm. Life doesn’t have a repeat button. We aren’t even promised the next minute. We’re not promised the next day. God gets us up. We need to take advantage of that. And keep ourselves grounded and focused. Jesus is coming back and he is the only way. Good message from Jimmy today. God bless Jimmy and his family and God bless everyone else on this Sunday morning. Prayers for Israel and America and the rest of the world.

I love that kind of church your talking about it was a member of a southern Baptist church for many yrs like that.we had a great Sunday school class then what I call.big church with only 1 service that started at 11every morning with evening service at 6 what great memories we all basically grew up together i was apart of the chorus and the pitcher on our soft ball team. After a softball game we would all gather at pizza hut. At holidays our church would gather and go to different houses in the neighborhood to sing christmas songs to the shut inns and go back to church for hot chocolate and snacks . What a different method nowadays at some of those churches. Im grateful for my upbringing their in that era. Jesus is coming back i pray that everyone comes to him before time runs out. heaven won't be one or two Saints singing and praising God, no, it will be the multitudes. it is called the Family of God for a reason, there are young or new converts as well as older, more mature Believers. We are to strengthen, to edify each other, to lift up and encourage each other. We pray together, we cry together, we laugh together, we praise together. We share our journeys, our hardships, our trials, we mentor each other. We also hold each other accountable and allow the Holy Spirit to do great and mighty things in us. We enable our Light for Him to Shine even brighter. God created the physical families for these very same reasons, to encourage wisdom to be felt, known and passed along. God sees the family to be very, very important and sees the Church, His Church as being for the individual Believers to come together as a family for His glory, praising Him and lifting His name up high. Jesus didn't get just one person to be a Disciple, no, He picked 12. Then He showed them how they were to treat others, to serve others. Jesus showed them His mercy, His forgiveness, His kindness, His love. So Shine on Brother, for together, we Shine even Brighter for Him!

Hello Jimmy it's Bill how are you hope all is well Jimmy and hope all is well with Chris tell Chris I said hello Jimmy I want to thank you for our daily devotional message and scripture today for the Book of Proverbs great presentation Jimmy and absolutely 100% right on our churches have a lot to offer we need to be involved as born-again Christians and followers of Jesus Christ we absolutely need to be involved in many areas that we can to help one another and to honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and also provide help from the church to the outside of people who do not know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to help them and to teach them and to get them introduced into our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so they can learn all about him so that one day they can make are Lord and Savior their own personal Lord and savior Jesus Christ and Jimmy I totally agree that's where we should be and getting involved in different areas of our church is really really good and that is something that needs to be done get involved in Bible study nights and be there and and get involved with all of our brothers and sisters at the church very well put Jimmy I must say Jimmy I hope all is going well at the ranch I see it's really cold I am hoping you had a awesome return flight back from your event and everything worked out really well and Jimmy hopefully you're having an awesome day at church in Great Fellowship with everyone and just a great day to spend back with Chris and enjoy the day off for a little bit I know this week coming up going to be a little busy for you and I understand not a problem but Jimmy always appreciate hearing from you and always appreciate you sharing no matter what it's always great to talk to you tell Chris I said hello and Jimmy greatly appreciate all you do and I will definitely talk to you soon oh by the way Jimmy I wanted to let you know that the temperature broke 40° we are now at 41 degrees Lakes are extremely ice covered a lot of people are ice skating and etcetera but that's about it that's exciting news😂😂 LOL all right Jim again I will definitely talk to you soon stay in touch when you can and God bless you Jimmy God bless Chris and the family sure do love you all very very dearly!!
