The cat cafe made me sad. I always imagined that the cats would be thoroughly enjoying being petted and loved on but they just looked traumatized and annoyed. Awesome video Daz. Glad you guys had a great time.

There are cat cafes here in the Uk as well. The one I went to (Java Cats) seemed really nice, they have you book in advance so their aren’t too many people and only take in cats from shelters so they can be adopted and they have their own cat flaps to leave the room if they wish. I believe they recently took in a bunch of cats from a different country and some had injuries like no tail, one eye or a burned ear but were all healed up and seemed perfectly fine. Since here it isn’t a big thing like in Japan it is more focused on finding cats loving homes and owners and looking after disabled cats rather than appealing to tourists and for cute photos. Love how Daz took absolutely no shit and respected how the cats were feeling. He’s a true sweetheart
@miichannel95762 ай бұрын
New Brunswick has a similar cat cafe called Purrfect Cup. You don't have to book in advanced but there is a limit of the number of people and you only get an hour to visit. They take in shelter cats and they have a room they can escape to if they want a break. They also have a lot of up high places too. My sister adopted one of her cats from there.

Cat cafes would probably work better alongside adoptions. The cats get desensitized and well socialised to people. It can introduce them to possible new owners and then they can move on to a quieter lives in their new homes. ❤
@jasminebisset13235 ай бұрын
That, or have a separate room where no guests can go to and either have it connected to the cat room or swap the cats out hourly or something. Gives the cats time to cool off from petting.

@dazgames , next time you go to Japan, you should go in the springtime when all the cherry trees are filled with beautiful pink blossoms. That type of scenery with Mount Fuji in the distance would make it all worth it. (P.S. You should also do a little research on proper customs and then check out some of their shrines; throw a coin into the coin box, (ring the hanging bell, I believe), and then clap your hands together twice, close your eyes, bow a little and then ask, (or pray), for good luck).

They normally do unless it’s a money grab business sadly. They’ll use animals to their advantage to get money. A lot of places in Tokyo are made for tourists so I’m sure the one he went to was meant for that reason. I have a cat cafe near me and you have to reserve a spot or wait your turn cause they only allow a certain amount of ppl in at a time. All of them are different and most care about the animals cause they’re trying to get them adopted.
