Maybe I missed it but I STILL HAVENT SEEN YOU USE STRAIGHT BELT MODE! In case you don't know about it, it's not something you have to unlock. Just press R when building conveyors to switch modes. I'm excited to see your non-spaghetti factories!

Just stumbled over your channel and I really like your style. Satisfactory is one of the most chill and at the same time daunting experiences I've had in games in the last years and it is always nice to see somebody who is also that enthralled by it. Guess you have a new viewer!

Amazing! I try to stay chill, though I get distracted easily...and I'm excitable. I've been playing this game for 5 years and I still fall more in love with it each day. Thanks for commenting and being a viewer! And funny enough you wrote this comment on arguably the worst episode I've ever released!

I find it easier to rotate the half foundations when their in the OG form then turning them into concrete. It's all fun and games with the lizardoggo's until they start finding that nuclear waste.

That's a great suggestion, thanks. And we know what to do with those doggos....

Are you sure the vertical sides (half slabs) are the same length as the ramps? I'll try to find out when I get home. They look a little squat, but might just be perspective. 😂 LOL, like you are going to raise all your roofs if they aren't perfect! OCD Alert!
@BEDplaysGAMES3 ай бұрын
They're not exact, no. But they're close. I'll measure them when I launch the game again, if I can remember.
@tehNashty3 ай бұрын
Ok, so that double ramp is an inverted 4m ramp under a 4m ramp. So, the length of the hypotenuse on two ramps is 8√5 or 17.88854382. Which means you need just under 10 (or 10...) in between, not 6 like you have in the video. But, depending on perspective, 10 may be 1 or 2 too much... Or, leave it at 6 and know I will be ok with it. Yea, that's the ticket! Yea, yea!

Thanks for the video. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but this was a very confusing episode, jumping from one thing to another, almost every clip. I do understand that a lot of filming has to be cut, otherwise the video would be hours long, but maybe a little more "focus", for lack of a better term right now, would benefit the viewing experience? The design of the hexagon factory looks good. It is fun to see, what can be done with the building mechanics, in order to get away from the "standard" square box building with machines in it (seems to be where I end almost everytime, lol). Take care, and I'll look forward to the next one.

You're absolutely right. I think taking my ADHD guard rails off was a mistake. I've already finished Friday's episode for the most part, but I think starting next week I'm just going to go back to basics, put the training wheels back on, and start automating and playing the game.
@grandpa_plays_chess22 ай бұрын
I'm not sure what you mean by guard rails? My mind rebels against any hard and fast rules. It's like a juvenile reaction I never got over. It works for you?
@BEDplaysGAMES2 ай бұрын
@@grandpa_plays_chess2 This is referencing my second Satisfactory Plus (modded Satisfactory) play where I tried setting some “pillars of play” rules to keep me on track. Things like having to automate each part as I unlock it so it stockpiles without me hand crafting just to unlock the next tier that I’m underprepared to automate. It worked for a bit. Granted by the end I had the time constraints of 1.0 to force my expediency. Those are the guard rails I removed and I’m struggling for it. Even if it didn’t work fully it helped.

Thanks! I need to pick up the pace and bounce back and forth between building and decorating like I usually do. I'm not making enough progress.

I had the same thought. I’m throwing out the slow decorating and advancing quicker starting next episode.

Decorating is good when you have too much time because you have everything for the space elevator freshly automated and need it to fill

Great idea, TNT. I got hyperfixated on this build and need to move on. I've snapped out of it!

Perhaps think of it as a film with a story? This might address the "jumping around" discussion above. A few another transitions and jump cuts, with your narration would be different.
