It's awesome that you go to these places and return the favor to clean it up. I used to do that all the time with my brother and my Mom growing up. We'd grab a few trash bags and walk around picking up trash and garbage. And fill 5 bags easy in about an hour. Thanks for doing that man.

that will literally never happen. nature shows are a dime a dozen. fishing shows are a dime a dozen. camping shows can be found. nothing he does is gunna convince anybody to buy him. he does nothing unique or particularly well enough. youtube is the PERFECT platform for this guy. bite sized episodes of him just doing his thing and its entirely free to watch to public. thats how it should stay. hes paid well enough and thats all that matters

Knife suggestions: Buy a cold steel if your in for toughness, you can even baton some wood with them if they have the triad lock (thats what they call there backlock), spyderco makes some great rustproof knives, and another great brand is benchmade. Great vids btw, love em.

Realistically you could save a ton of money up for a couple years (or just sell all your stuff and whatnot) till you have about 60k-70k USD or preferably way more, put it a few high dividend stocks, and live off the dividends pretty easy in most parts of SE asia for a year or more. I wouldn't recommend that as a long term strategy because ultimately that investment will never really grow but for a year of living like this? Doable!

How is he good at surviving? He can't hunt or know how to trap. Most of the time he finds shell fish on rocks along the shore's instead of finding a way to trap fish. He can't find water but just coconuts which he has to look for old fallen ones because he can't climb coconut trees. All he knows how to do is build a half ass shelter and start a fire.
