Nice way to spend the day. It’s good to see the reef looks healthy. I’ve cruised the barrier reef twice in my lifetime and treasure those memories.
@SailingLuckyfish4 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is good to see the reef looking so healthy. The Belize reefs do have bleaching events at times, but nothing to the extent of the Great Barrier Reef. The biggest cause of bleaching there isn't warmer sea temps (they are a contributor) but other causes like deforestation, sediment and nutrient enriched run-off from farming. Difficult problems to fix. You are very lucky to have memories of the reefs! Cheers

Then most impressive, crossing the Atlantic in that most ancient design of vessel, so inspiring and impressive... @Guenther Michaels thanks for your kind words. We are all well as is Luckyfish. We have returned to Guatemala and will be remaining here for the foreseeable future. Like many, we were shocked to the core at the events of last year. The censorship, the lost freedoms, the corruption in plain sight amongst all our Institutions, govts, central banking and the judiciary.There is so much change for the worse happening in the world and we cannot address it in video without risk of losing the channel. We are not interested in doing powder puff stories. Once we see a positive angle where we can contribute, we will begin recording again. In the meantime we wish all our viewers good luck. Do your own research and think for yourselves. Again, thanks for your kind note.

If you have email it could be easier. So guys I guess my first obvious question is what's UB like for Covid 19.? 2. I am looking at going July August during your northern summer. Question...are those months ok. Possibly 2022 or 2023.? 3. How safe is it.? 4. Shall I use your fb page for future and ongoing communications.? Btw, my beer fridge is full, again if you ever get down here. Take care and stay safe.

So what's happened to Luckyfish and the crew? Many are wondering but the channel does not respond. Saying they're OK, watching the covid thing... well, so are most youtube channel people. "Watching" developments does in no way explain the abrupt absence of videos. If there's some personal mishap, an update should have been made.
