Most people don't realize how good catfish really is. My mom makes The best nuggets you could ever come across. At 84yrs young she still has the best southern cooking I've ever eaten. Just a cooking suggestion I have, if you let the bacon get crispy and then put the fish in, it will turn out even better! My 4 year old son and I love your videos. By the way, Minnesota and Wisconsin are great places to fish, with a wide variety of types of fishing to do, from the Great Lakes and the Mighty Mississippi to the smaller rivers, streams, and lakes flowing throughout the land. A couple of things. 1. If you are fishing with crickets, worms, etc you need a much lighter rod. Reason being so you don't have to use weights. 2. You should switch over to braided lines. 3. You just need to know how to cook a larger catfish. You do not filet and such like a crappie, you cut them into steaks.
