In this episode I'm near Crystal River, FL fishing for redfish with my host for the week and a few friends. The bite starts out tough, but a change in baits based on what I'm seeing makes all the difference. Multiple redfish hit the kayak, most of which are too big to keep legally, but I do get one keeper.

Wife and I just tried this recipe. Used it on Red Snapper on the half shell. Baked in oven at 410 degrees for 14 minutes. Insanely good!!!

Hey Robert! What are you using for your audio for your vids? I watch em all and notice the sound quality is really good in them. Do you have a external mic w/ deadcat or just GoPro stock sound boosted in editing? Dign the dream man... keep it up! ✌🏻

I take the audio from the ActionHat on my head most of the time. It comes through much clearer than any boom or mount. I use the audio from that layered under the video that’s facing me. That’s why I almost always have the ActionHat on when I’m talking. This video actually had worse audio quality because I forgot the ActionHat st home. That’s just the GoPro Hero 5 audio on the Railblaza Camera Boom 600. The Hero 5 & 6 have much better audio than the older models.

Digging the lifestyle. I miss living and fishing in FL. Have you fished Charlotte Harbor or the Matlacha area? I had some of the best times of my life there and caught some world class fish. Finally planned a trip down from Ohio for the first time in 5 years. Stoked to say the least.

They were super spooky while they were tailing. We didn’t get a single one to bite despite some amazing casts. That’s the only reason I put the rod down to film them... they would not eat. But once the tide came up they became less finicky.

Not gonna lie, I cried a little when he dropped that legal Pompano! Great eating fish. You should be able to catch some in the surf on the Panhandle. Just west of PCB, Fl 30A runs along the coast. Yellowfin Ocean Sports is a great yak/fish shop. Check out the area if you have time! Pensacola can wait :-)

Because you are a professional angler and the tackle you are using is bad. Yes i mean penn. The reels you are using weight a lot. And the rods are not that good. You may not recognize but you will get tired in a long-term fishing day. I say you should get lighter reels and better rods with fuji guides. You will see the difference trust me
