I completely agree about the album being absolutely incredible. I wish this pressing wasn't plagued by such noticeable quality issues with the pressing itself.

I have a copy of Currents by Eisley and I really like this album. The Vinyl is beautiful swirly-transparent blue and green like the ocean. Something went wrong with the mix on that vinyl record though... I actually thought my speakers were broken or something! Its like all the high end is gone, and there is no bass. I was really bummed. I kept it too mostly because I don't know what alternative there is :/

That's a bummer. The Discogs entry (www.discogs.com/release/4664517) shows that it was mixed and mastered by the same person, but it doesn't list a mastering engineer specifically for the vinyl release. If the vinyl sounds really thin like you describe, they probably used the CD/digital master for the vinyl, which usually doesn't sound very good. I've got a couple of records that use the CD master on the vinyl release and they're not great.
