@demetricnorwood23849 ай бұрын
We use braid on every length of rod. Some rods are set with mono when we have to do some casting, however, braid casts well too

It looked like you were moving your rod tip more than he was. That dead stick let's you feel small bites better for me.

The aggression level of spawning crappie usually affords you the ability to not move a bunch. The Fish were on the outside edge of the grass more than the inside

Hey brother! When wading for Crappie, use a wading stick to check for deep holes. They usually come with a string or strap that goes over your shoulder. Have fun, but most importantly, be safe.

I have a tip for you guys. Get yourself a Quality Fly Fishing Vest at Dicks or some place like that. Then set it up with what you need. Everything compact and just leave the Plastics in the package. And a small plastic tackle box for your hooks and split shots and etc. Everything will fit in the several pockets in the Vest and there is a small pach to stick your hooks on while you are changing up too. This Is Your Tip For The Day. Tight Lines 🎣
