Is why I watch your channel. No fancy expensive electrics, no big fancy expensive boat, a working mans fishing channel. I do all my fishing from shore and you are one of the few fisherman I can actually relate to. I once used my father in-law paddle boat to catch one hell of a stringer of fish. He couldn't believe I caught them using his paddle boat when her sees guys with over a hundred thousand dollars invested in they fishing equipment not catching fish like I was.
@frankygmanentertainment58353 жыл бұрын
That's the thing man ,I fish on a paddleboard and I'll watch people in their fancy glitter rockets just shoot across the lake every 5 seconds if they're not immediately catching anything , they get real frustrated after asking me if I've had any luck haha
@casper86623 жыл бұрын
@@frankygmanentertainment5835 being stealthy and quiet catches more fish.

Thank you for that story of how you made your own baits. When I was a kid, I learned most of what I knew about the outdoors from reading field and stream. My little brother and I didnt have any money to buy the things we saw in that magazine, so we cobbled together anything that vaguely resembled what we read about. Then as we grew and gained a lot of valuable experience, we learned exactly what you stated that brands were for making money and little more. One more quick story. A friend of mine who has passed away now and myself used to fish alot and he always used a rooster tail often and a few other old tried and true baits. One morning we were on the river and I pulled out the newest crappie lure I had bought. I held it up and ask him what he thought about my new super duper lure. He glanced at it, tied on his usual no frills age old bait and said "well, it already caught what it was supposed to". That was 25 years ago and I'm sure I'll never forget that little priceless piece of knowledge. Thanks for letting me come along with you and sharing those priceless little pieces of knowledge. God bless you.
