Hi Joe, yet another great vid'. Squid brand "Fish Sauce" £2.40 for 725 ml, Sainsburys, well over a Pint. Don't, always get sucked in by the "Tenner a Pop +" stuff from tackle shop !! 77% Fish (anchovies, no squid as the name kind of suggests ?) 20% salt, 3% sugar. Give it a go on your pellets/groundbait and as a Method Glaze.

Great video Joe. Its a local venue I've fished alot over the years. I fished the Oaks lake today, had just over 100lb of bream with a few carp. Maybe get yourself on that lake for another session one of these days. Keep it up Joe, your firmat is very good.👌

I planned to go on Oaks on this day actually but it was still a bit muddy after the netting so choice the comfy option!

I really appreciated the short pole fishing. I have a 3m margin whip that I elasticated with 3m 18 black hollow. It's basically a 3m top kit. I just got my 1st 17lb Mirror Carp on it. Short pole fishing is awesome. Keep up the good work. 👍

What a great lake for a days bagging. Just looked at the web site for the purpose of fishing a club festival next year with 8 anglers. As you rightly said, easy fishing as long as you observe the basics such as correct elastic matched to correct line and rigs. Shame you didnt video the shallow part of your visit although I would presume it is as per normal. Great discovery Joe. Thanks

I'm still too old school. This 'new' 0.19 fishing line thing...what's that in old school english lol. I worked in lbs so 4lb hook length to like 6lb main line. I struggle to understand the mm thing! Great video though, love fishing close in with the pole catching carp. Not tried barbel.
