Your Smartstrike pop up menus appear different than my unit. A lot more detailed menu selections. Is it because I have a Helix versus your Solix?

It could be , I have not used it with a Helix. The other possibility is if you have not done the recommended Software update. I used the mapping chip BEFORE I updated the software just to see what would happen. I could see the maps but many of the options did not show up.

@High School Fishing Central I do have the latest update 2.800. I get the selection, but they are the traditional Helix menu boxes. So, I guess Solix is a little more sophisticated. Lol 😆

Does SmartStart now adjust if you are using lake level offset or does it still advise you to fish on dry land?😢

I have not been on the water yet (I live in the North) to test it out but my guess is that it will still mark fish on dry land if the water is super low.

I have an older model Smart Strike card, year 2021, installed in a Solix. Is there any improvements as far as fish-finding features that I should consider? Trying to determine if I should invest in an upgrade to the new VX card.

I am not sure about the specific improvements in the Smart Strike improvements since I rarely used the older Smart Strike features. I will say the mapping chip is well worth purchasing for new features/abilities REGARDLESS if you use Smart Strike or not.

Does Smart Strike take in to consideration the lake level offset such as when the lake is low or high? Thanks for the information.

@@highschoolfishingcentral7753 I know how to change water level offset. I’m asking if, let’s say, the lake is 30 feet low and your input asks for shallow water depth in your search criteria, will the search targets be on dry land?

@@sowabunga Yes they could be on land. SmartStike is not THAT smart.

How and where do you recall the saved searches
