I buy them every weekend faithfully. I put them in the fridge, and it makes them go into like a hybernation. They will stay alive for about 48 hours in a fridge. Its easier to put them in the pot, they dont be fighting. But once that warmer water hit them, they come alive, by then im putting the seasoning in, and putting them on the stove

When i was child, each August we had tiny ponds going almost dry from no rains and hot summer. I used to catch alot of fish by hands in water walking in mud like this but i had cases where i would lift a snake or eel and that had my heart racing. I immediately threw it away lol. Luckily i had rubber boots on. Not to mention all kind of unknown water bugs bite my hands and it hurts alot.

Used to do this as a kid in the seventies, the shore about two hundred meters from our house. Stepping on the mud, hair whipped by the mud-scented wind, catching small crabs (nowhere as big as this).. Surrounded by kingfishers, herons, seagulls, tikling waders...often we would go by night, using a bamboo torch...no happy ending to this story; today the filthy shoreline is choked by around a thousand squatter houses, the rest of it turned into a garbage fill, and the kingfishers and herons and crabs and waders, all gone.

How many men in the United States would do this walking in the mud with no boots on I see a wedding ring on his left hand the things people have to do to survive. We have things on a silver platter handed to us and a lot of people don't realize how blessed they are until they look at the third world country and see how they have to survive. I just thank God for Jesus!
