The first time we went to Maui we took a whale watching boat tour and spent 500.00 for both of us. We were gone for about 4 hours and saw a total of 2 whales barely breaching. We went back the next year and stayed on our cruise ship sitting on our balcony and saw about 20-25 whales breaching, jumping and swimming all around. It was the best 500.00 we ever saved.😀

@@RemySH87 Religion is one reason there have been so many wars and so much strife, historically speaking. Religion is not a positive influence on society, it degrades ethics and excuses atrocities. It promotes faith, which is belief without evidence, and even in spite of evidence to the contrary. It's wishful thinking. It makes a virtue out of blind obedience and believing despite having evidence that it's not true. The more you believe despite the evidence to the contrary, the more faith you exhibit. Right? But that's all backwards. Doubt is the virtue. Doubt is the only way we correct ourselves when we are wrong. We can't learn if we think we already know everything. Doubt is a product of humility, which the Bible does say is a virtue. Just the fact that there are tens of thousands of religions out there would be enough to conclude that nobody has a monopoly on truth or religious knowledge. It's all, just, like your opinion, man.... And none of it is objective. So when you blame the world's ills on people not believing in YOUR particular religion, you really just kinda come off as an @ss.... Which is another thing religion produces in droves: self-unaware asses.

@@RemySH87 because when they did everything was just fine, or what are you saying? Think about how peaceful the last 2000 years have been and then please tell us again about the grace of your Lord. I think it also raises questions about our perspective on reality. Are these moments just a series of lucky coincidences, or is there a deeper connection to be explored?
