You need to improve your trout handling skills. Next time use gloves and oil the gloves before you grab the fish. Then make sure not to breath on it because you are basically blowing your toxics all over it. After that, make sure you give it a gentle back massage and slowly lower into the water. Hasn't anyone ever told you that trout are delicate??

I just cooked this recipe for my family and it was tops man ! I doubled the recipe, one large Rainbow and one large German Brown. I also added some morel mushrooms. I love me some fried or grilled trout but this is a fine way to cook it when you want to impress... and that sauce with the bread....you cant beat that with a stick ! thanks for sharing !!

When i get trout its always off with head, tail, fins and out with guts then salt, pepper, butter, juniper branch, lemon slice or square inside its stomach area then packed good into 2 layers of foil and directly into fireplace

Heres a tip to improve that souce recipie. Put 1/4 cup of cream cheese to it with the butter. Use the cream cheese thats in a little box and foil. Not the tub ones😉
