My recent order arrived today. I gave my daughter the XL scrunchies I ordered for her and she was really happy with them. I also gave her one of the large scrunchy holders and she immediately used it. Thankyou so much. I have another order to place now.

Omg your market sales are amazing and so inspiring! 🤩 Well done!! Goes to show what hard work can achieve! I can only dream to make that much at my regular markets but it’s very inspiring to now know it is possible with hard work and to not give up when I have a bad day of sales. Thank you so much for sharing this info with us, very generous of you! 🙂 Hope you feel better soon and good luck with the festival! 💜

My husband and I had Covid January of this year.(2023) It was so exhausting! I had the worst body aches ever!! And some really really bad headaches; and a couple of migraines.(Ive had chronic migraines since I was 11 and the Covid migraines and headaches were like a combination of a tension, sinus and regular headache all in one! my husband had a bad sore throat.

That's brilliant! How is it going now? I'm thinking of doing the same but very apprehensive. There's a few I see selling online and it's kind of putting me off. I make beautiful handmade cards and not 1 sold but I see others selling ones that honestly my 8 year old would make and we both sell for the same price! Very very disheartening

You should look into a rotary blade sharpener. They work amazing and you can sharpen the disk up to 5 times.

Damn hey, the spicy cough. I doubt I will be going away anytime soon. Everyone I know who has gone on holiday has come home with covid. Take things a bit easier and get help with the markets for a while, post viral syndrome 'long covid' is no joke.

I really hope you do well at the festival….. hope you get parking close to your stall or it will be very difficult. Most music festivals are often a total waste of time unless selling food , lollies or drinks etc , imo ….because people are prohibited to take in bags / backpacks etc over a certain size (small !) and some venues allow no bags at all ! So they usually just look or buy one little thing because they just don’t want to carry stuff around all day and night . My daughter one year asked me to sew her some baggy black heavy cotton pants with loads of big pockets all over them with Velcro closures so she had a place for everything she wanted to take in ( purse , prescription sunglasses , prescription glasses, lipgloss , mini hand sanitizer, mobile phone , hat , lightweight thongs for when her docs hurt too much …lol..etc) Every “ handmade “ vendor I’ve come across selling at or I’ve spoken to who does sell at festivals say something along the line of thank goodness they loved the music but would never do it again because they never even break even when they add all expenses in to the mix ….but that’s here in WA , might be better over east ? Occasionally you will be allowed to take extra people in to help you at no extra cost but some I’ve enquired about charge quite a bit for extra workers …they are so greedy ! I know if I was at a venue with so many people I would need extra staff or I’d lose so much stock in thefts and lose sales in walk offs because they don’t want to line up again after lining up for food , drinks , toilet etc . One item I think would sell very well would be bottle holders in a lanyard style for a water bottle..

Thank you! As you suggested it didn’t go to well, but I think it was because of my location. I had friends attend that couldn’t even find me I was in a corner that barely anyone went to. So I actually had barely any foot traffic. Those that did come through I managed to sell a regular amount but there just wasn’t enough people seeing my stall unfortunately 😅 we were lucky bags were allowed and I was able to bring extra people with no extra charge. that’s such a great idea with the pants!! I can relate with docs, I’m a year and half in and still get blisters lol

Hi Taylah, hope you're feeling better. Thank you so much for being so nice an open about everything that you can for us. I just LOVE your work and videos 😍😍 Is it possible to ask about your satin fabric please. I live in an island and have to order everything from oversea and don't know what is the gr/m2 of the satin that you use, because i can't "feel" it. And since is a bit expensive i don't want to have the wrong one. Is the 90gr/m2.... the 130? Thank you so much for all your videos. Big kiss from a small Azorean Island in Portugal 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘💜💜💙💙💚💚

You should invest in a rotary blade sharpener, they are great and no need to keep buying blades.. i got the cheap ones off ebay they don't last as long as a brand name one but i can just keep sharpening them xD

@@Millie.Daze. idk brand name, i got one off Ebay, it was cheap purple, round in shape and sharpens blades decently.

That's interesting wow l made scrunchies for Christmas presents as money was tight as partner had recently passed so the little ones loved them and a few friends asked could l make some so l said ok and sold $225 dollars worth l was surprised at that made that amount over 2 days considering lmade them because buying presents was a bit hard after paying for funeral l was surprised when the girls hit me with orders and it inspired me I haven't done a market yet but maybe one day soon

Scrunchie seller here, and a variety of other stuff, but at markets in the city I don’t think I’ve ever made more then $200 in my whole life, not even heard of someone selling $2500 of stuff anywhere when I’ve spoken to people selling things at $80 so idk if I feel like I’m being lied to tbh. Seems a little bit extreme, but honestly well done to you if you are doing that much, that’s literally incredible.
@TaylahRose2 жыл бұрын
I said $1500 max aha and it’s in AUD. I have plenty of friends making 2k+ at markets. Why would I lie 😭😂 I’ve worked so hard to get where I am. I definitely didn’t start off making this much at markets 😊
@kellyfisher42512 жыл бұрын
That’s not very nice insinuating someone is lying, you could have said wow good job I wish I made that much, any tips. Anyway I wish all small businesses owners reading this (and everyone else) all the best and success in your endeavours. Follow your dreams, find friends in the community (over competition) and work hard hopefully doing something you love and over time you can prosper and grow and help other small start ups like Taylah does. I hope everyone has a nice weekend, stay safe, happy and healthy, and please let’s all try to be kind to one another. Lots of love ❤️
