Sun fish/blue gill is hands down my all time favorite fish I have so many different recipes for gills so it never gets boring, my top 3 recipes are filleted and fried, then scaled whole(no head), and third my personal favorite is scaled whole wrapped in tin foil with lemon and butter and what ever else you want but not baked but grilled on a charcoal grill along side some corn. Like you mentioned once that water goes over 75f° to 80°f plus most fish meat will be just mush don't effect the taste but that texture will throw anybody off. That's also on great thing about blue gills is even in super hot water temps their meat still holds up quite well.

I love it! To catch all those in one pond, congrats! My experience with catfish, I like to take all the reddish meat off. It helps with the taste and soak them in salt water or butter milk to help with the taste. Keep the awesome videos coming brother!

for a GREAT catfish rig that i always use and i never go home skunked with idk what it’s called but basically you wanna tie a 1 ounce to 2 ounce sinker so that it’s at the end of your line, then make sure you have some tag end LINE from your sinker and just tie your hook at the end of the tag and there you go

The other day I watched a video where a guy used a tiny bass as live bait (it's perfectly legal in his state) and people were railing on him. Like, you people do realize that bass are the most numerous fish in North America right? One little baby bass gone will not hurt the population. Just a little advice on the fish frying, put your fish in a bowl and mix with a little lemon juice and cover your fish in mustard it will help the fish fry stick better, also make sure your grease is at 375 before you put them in

When using soft baits like liver and such . Buy bait string on Amazon and will keep those kinda baits on the hook . It's a elastic string for bait . And when your using hotdogs the best way to keep them on the hook , use a bait needle with a treble hook with leader , treble about the same size as the hotdogs your using .
