my dad saw these bully's hurting a baby bat. my dad went to them and pushed them all really hard away grabbed to baby weak bat and put the baby bat in his hat and ran. after a few months of my dad taking care of him at home he got to go to a animal shelter it was different u can't buy them u just go bring hurt animals that can't survive outside by there selves. the baby bat got brought there we a few other little bats. now the little bat is ok

Bats are cute. They are not aggressive and flying fuzz balls and keep the insect population under control. Also should check out fruit bats. They survive on fruit and their juices. None here in the US, but they are one of the species that keeps the rain forests alive. Also they are adorable and look like sky puppies.

There are small populations of Mexicans who are "Black," but they look like George Lopez(often lighter skinned, often with curly hair), and live near the Veracruz coast. タピアエドガー btw, if you're confused, the composition of the Mexican race is Native Americans, and Native Europeans _(as Europe is being flooded with foreigners, Ill specify)_ . The normal Mexican is both American and European blood, but having only one or the other is also common. The only exceptions are people who can immigrate, and not stand out. This would include Christian Arabs, Jews, and other Hispanics(e.g. Colombians, Argentines, Salvadorans, etc.).

I live in a big urban city (Toronto), but one time I woke up in the middle of the night because I little bat was actually sitting on my chest! It took flight and flew around all over the inside of my house in big circles. My father and I opened all the windows in the house and after a few minutes it finally found one and flew outside. My mother was terrified, but my father and I loved it because it was so small and adorable. The next morning there was guano all over the floor in every room. The wacky thing is that this wasn't the only time. It happened again two years later!

Bats rarely carry rabies, their blood is pretty cold so while not impossible for them to carry rabies, it's unlikely. There's one thing I don't get though, people will go out of their way to pet a stray dog or cat but suddenly with bats its NONO WHAT IF IT HAS RABIES? I had an awesome experience with a little brown bat in a cabin in North Minnesota once; I noticed the bugger flying around inside the cabin around 12 or so. And at first, I thought it was a large moth until I heard some scrabbling sounds in the blinds. After about an hour of chasing him around with some heavy cloth gloves and a towel, I finally got him. Chittering all the way out the door. Adorable.

Adorable little critters. My father is an electrician and we were taking down some field lights. He was sawing the lights off and the poles into pieces, I was picking up the pieces and taking them to the scrap pile. Apparently, a few bats made their home in one and fell out right onto my shirt. they clung in desperation as I freaked out, then took off flying. Felt sorry for them, it was the middle of winter in Savannah GA, cold and the saw had to have REALLY disoriented them due to the vibrations and cutting of the pole, hell of a rude awakening and I fear they may have not made it from such a jarring experience.

In Australia 3 people have died from a bat scratch or being bitten by one b/c bats can carry a form of the rabies virus, Australia's rabies virus strain has the same symptoms & the same ending - death, If anyone comes in contact with a bat/ flying fox get vaccinated for rabies before symptoms appear b/c after the symptoms appear there is nothing Doctors can do. The most recent death was an 8 yr old little boy, two months after a bat scratched him on the arm in Queensland in 2013. R.I.P Lincoln Flynn.

You did that wrong. You're supposed to let them leave on their own by finding all of the entrances and creating an exit that doesn't allow reentry. You're never supposed to wake a bat up either. Also, you're only supposed to do it at certain times of the year because you don't want to risk that the bat is leaving behind pups that will starve without their mother. Google it. You'll find a lot of information and how to do it so if you ever find others, you'll know.

One very hot summer in Delaware, our family left open our sliding glass door to cool down because it was 80 degrees outside and it was 92 inside. (six-year-old kids are goobers.) i saw our back porch door was open and i went to close it but was too caught up in a new episode of a cartoon i liked. A bat flew in and then i did a stupid dance then screamed and sprinted back to my room and ran into the door, opened it, then went to play on my computer to forget about it. Two minuets later i hear my dad shout "Good god! another damn bat?!" and then i come out and run up to him and say "wadda' you gonna do?" and he said "go get the skimmer." (we have pool and that's what the skimmer's for.) so i went and got it and my dad showed me how to net him/her. i was screaming not in terror but, because i thought it was cuter than my puppy bulldog i got the day before as a gift because my very best friends moved away.later we let the bat back outside so he/she could go about his/her business. Story Time! I once had a bat hang from my front screen door in the middle of the day. It wasn't foaming from the mouth or anything- it stayed there for a long time and even peed on the door. When my family and I came home we had to come in through the back door... It actually really scared me, i'm terrified of rabies but i knew that it had to bite me. it ended up flying off. We have two dogs that bark at a squirrel but they didn't bark at the bat. kind of strange..

zakosist Bats can carry RABIES. A Bat bite or scratch from a tooth is difficult to feel, and a lot of people have been bitten without even knowing it, until the symptoms of rabies start. And by then it is too late and you will die. NO excuse to handle Bats without gloves, no excuse whatsoever. Don't compare Bats to Rattlesnakes... if a Rattlesnake bites you, you will know you have been bitten so you can receive the correct medical attention and get treatment. Like I said above, Bat bites and scratches often go unnoticed, which makes it absolutely ridiculous to handle a Bat without gloves.

Riding with Alex Good point. I got bitten by a mice a couple weeks ago and it was actually barely noticeable, both regarding pain and looking for the biting mark afterwards. I guess that applies to bats too

zakosist Yep, and some species of Bats have absolutely tiny teeth which don't even draw blood when they bite. Definitely not worth the risk, in my opinion.

Because bats are colony animals which have complex social relationships within said colonies, keeping one in isolation can actually be very harmful; they can develop severe depression, for example. Think solitary confinement for a human, but even worse because the group relationships are so vital to bats. They are very cute, but you either need a whole bunch of them to tend at once or you're going to have a very miserable little critter.

Wildman Phil doesn't look like a bat specialist. A bat specialist would never ever use a tool like that which would probably hurt the little tiny bat joints. Disappointing, cruel, and irresponsible. Also coronavirus people need to shut up.

I thinks it's kinda weird that I have saved a moth bigger then those bats. . . Haw?!?!?! But still I'm going to tell the story haw I saved it and what danger it was in. I was at a public camp ( camp gravit ) and there was a huge moth on the roof and while I was looking at it a kid had bring his water gun with him to the camp and shot the moth with the water gun. He than ran away and the moth was wet and stuck in a water puddle unable to fly and when I sall this I tried to save the moth with a stick but I kept failing so then I just got tired of it and reached my hand out and it climbed onto my hand! I got it out side and tried to put it on the ground but it wouldn't go on the ground and just stayed on my hand shivering in fear. But soon it got dry then flew off. When it flew off it was beautiful. The moth was so big it looked like a bat or bird! Ever sense i have never forgotten that moment and I never will. years ago, I remember an article about bats in national geographic in which they had a photo in a cave, of a pile of hair spray cans, which people use for blow torches to kill bats with, I'm not a fan of bats, but that just seemed unnecessarily cruel.

You really don't have to worry if he bites you he has very sharp teeth but they have very weak jaw muscles. He can't even break your skin if you let them try to bite you on your finger

Fun Fact, its actually vary rare for bats to get rabies and even when they do it usually kills the bat before they have a chance to spread it
