Awesome catch Brandon, they always said the isn't wetter when it rains and you are right about it affecting the fisherman more than the fish!

Good Fish your catching out There,, Fished last Thursday and Friday (12/9--- 12/10) , South Mississippi, They're Doing The Same Thing, What I Found Was In open Water hugging the bottom Near And Under The bait balls ,. Constantly Moving I finally figured out what direction they seem to be moving so I got above them and kinda drifted with them searching around the boat With The Livescope as I went ,, I managed to get enough for cookup but I saw alotta small ones Both days, Never really Found A school bigger fish, just a few better fjsh mixed up with alotta little ones , When I'd target Those and the small ones would swarm the Jig like Yellow jackets lol , Think I caught one black crappie in the two afternoons All The rest was White ,. Anyway this seems to be the pattern everywhere , what I was finding on structure Have pulled away from it now , Keep It Reelin Brother 💦🐟🎣🤠🇺🇸

I’ve thought about it but I think I’ll just keep my crappie fishing about the love of the game and save the tournaments for the bass side. You never know though, maybe one day. Thanks for watching!

One of the best days fishing I ever had was a tournament at Wilson Lake (Alabama) in December and it was pouring. I was catching so many fish I wasn't paying attention to how much water was collecting in the boat. Looked down and realized water was backing up through the drain in the floor. I turned on the Bilge pump and it pumped out water for about an hour. I must have caught 25-30 bass. Best 5 was almost 22 pounds and included one 5.5 pound smallmouth. Won the tournament. Was a great day!

TN river smallmouth especially love those nasty rainy days. Sounds like a great trip! Thanks for watching!

Awesome videos !!!!! Have you ever tried trolling for Crappie using deep diving crank baits 25+ ft. of water ? I caught some slabs like that fishing with a older fellow it was his way of Crappie fishing. 35 years ago

I never have tried trolling crankbaits for crappie but I’ve watched some videos of guys doing it. I just like casting to them and feeling that thump lol. Thanks for watching!

Next video can you show how you found...fished and used active target in open water? Center Hill gets deep quick. I find open water crappie tough to stay on.

We have alot of black noise crappies in our lake
@ronknight64002 жыл бұрын
Brandon, Watching you catch all of these crappie is great, and you keep referring to what you are seeing on your forward facing sonar, but you never showed us what you are seeing. I appreciate the details on your tackle setup though. Enjoying your crappie series but please show more of your screens when you think about it in the future videos. Thanks.
@BrandonLesterFishing2 жыл бұрын
I’m trying to get better at this, but it is not easy to film what I’m seeing on active target, and fish at the same time. I could add a second camera but that would probably double my editing time on videos and I’m just not willing to do that. I will do my best to show you all more of my screen when I can though. Thanks for the feedback and as always thanks for watching!

Awesome! I am struggling with my livescope. Are you casting into the brush pile or casting pass it and retrieving through it or over it?
@BrandonLesterFishing2 жыл бұрын
I like to cast just past it and let my bait sink until I see the fish start reacting to it. Normally within a couple of feet of them. Then start reeling slowly keeping the bait just above them. Thanks for watching!
