Always love watching your vids m8 and have done for years now, but I must admit I do miss the variation in lures from video to video . Now days it's the same ones all the time. Are lmab ever going to send you something other than kofi perch, finess filet and Craws?

Where there's snags there's preds the risk we take some nice perch caught though and a bonus jack well done 👍

I tend to do the same with perch especially if they've come up from deeper water Find if I just slip them back they seem disorientated and end up as pike food

Here in the States we love to eat yellow (lake) perch. Surpassed only by walleye(similar to Zander). Do you guys eat them or are they just for sport? Friday night fish fries featuring perch are still common in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Love our pike as well.

I used to speak to a bloke who was always fishing for pike down our local canal who also used to eat the odd pike or two until he told me a story about once when he took one home to eat he cut it open to take the guts out and it had a massive rat inside it! Needless to say i think it put him off 😂

Hate to have a moan but the fish care in this vid is pretty poor… as one of the bigger fishing KZbinrs in the uk if anything you should be advocating quality fish care. How much effort does it take to bring a mat? Very little in my opinion… seems like your urge to get the lure back in the water overrides your fish care. Massive shame. Regardless a good session

Good perch, and good fishing, but throwing the perch 2 meters through the air is not a very good way to realise them or are you afraid to ruin your sneakers in the mud of the bank ?

Great content (as usual). I feel you could handle some of the fish a bit better though. You're more than capable of doing so, but maybe sometimes the urge to fish hard, prompts you to handle and release them a bit loosely. Cheers.

I hate when people use low quality gear for example braid and are then confused why it’s shit and snaps at the reel. Is £50ish for 150m of sunline braid a lot… maybe but it’ll certainly not snap at the reel and just makes the experience better

Your lures will be shads, creature baits up to about 10cm, you will want a rod that casts weights from 1-15g gram anywhere in there and your on for a winner, 1000 size reels, 10lb braid, 10lb fluro leader, jigheads, ned rigs, Texas weights, cheb weights, twitch it along the bottom

Shimano or Diawa reels far superior go for a 1000/2000 as for rod go 7ft not too heavy 2-12g or close to that be best for still water or slow rivers. theres lots of tackle out there just depends on budget again shimano diawa okuma always go with a brand you can trust
