Well guys I’ve been neglecting the perch a little bit again lately! Feels like a good while since I had a perch session so I decided to head out one afternoon hoping to find some! I knew it was going to be a difficult session by the weather but decided to persevere to see what I could get!
Equipment used -
LMAB la moustique bfs rod - 2-10grams
KASTKING zhypr reel
Gunki braid 11lbs
LMAB finesse filet craw lure 4cm/ 7cm

@@pikeandperch yeh I think its what there feeding on most of the time. Full of crays ect here . Just know I'm gonna lose allot to bikes and brolleys dragging this on the bottom 😄

Had 3 zander and about 20 perch biggest 1 was over 1lb 30cm also lost a pike on the finesse fillet craw 4cm. Nearly every bite came on the drop using a 2gram jig head for that super slow fall 😁 another great vid Dan

Try a session with spinner lures only, surely you gonna get loads of fish,try different sizes too,these days they make them in all the possible sizes and they can catch you anything absolutely anything, from tiny perch to catfish.Great video btw again.take care mate

I once used like a 3 cm craw for some small perch that I saw and a pike that was like 100cm plus took it. I lost because the line broke but it was kind of weird for it to take such a small lure

@@pikeandperch the reason why I asked is because I bought one of their spinning reels and although I have 2 expensive Shimano reels my kasking reel isn’t that far behind …… especially for the price and over three quarters cheaper !! Love mine too …. Never used a bait finesse set up … maybe one day !! All the best to ya buddy & loving all the videos🎣👍🏽😀

It's a dedicated bfs reel, not a baitcaster with a bfs spool. Kastking Zephyr

2 inch Vibroworms do very well for perch on my local canal, I'm at the arse end of the lake district, for some reason on the pike front I only seem to catch Jack's until it gets a bit colder then I get the bigger fellas.
