What a great day, good fight those bullreds. What boat launch did you use?

The launch is towards the end of Freshwater City Rd. It’s small and there isn’t much parking.

Space to bank fish there?

Very little. There were people fishing at the boat launch but there isn’t much space. If you pass up the boat launch and continue down Freshwater City Rd there is a fenced off area that you can drive into and I’ve seen people fishing from there. It is marked off as Private Property but I’ve seen shrimp boat crews drive in there, not sure if they own the property.

You fish the bottom?

I go out looking for action so I will try just about everything. I’ll throw some plastics, maybe throw out a bottom carolina rig, float a shrimp under a cork.

What was the tag on the redfish for?

Research program, if these fish get recaptured you can call the number on the tag and report where you caught and how big the fish is and they compare to when I caught it.

Dude what a great day. The net probs cracked me up.... been there done that.. get a pair of grabbers for the big reds as a backup. Im tied up right now but ill hollar at ya in a few weeks maybe we could get that sheep.
