Rip Choky - As a city-slicker aussie, I'd like to say how I appreciate videos like this. Gives me an insight into the lives of those Australians living outside city-limits, dealing with part of the country life that we aren't privy too and a lot of the time don't understand. So this channel and your videos mate are fantastic - keep it all up.

when my pop took me trapping back in the 70s on for foxes and he would when possible set just before a rain, in victoria its easier than n.s.w or qld, never used gloves, we would sprinkle water over the area, and yes very cunning foxes that had been caught and chewed off their leg to get out, became very hard to catch. we would elevate a bait up high, set traps back away from under a trap. also we used beer cans with spikes and not peg a trap in the ground, never lost a fox that way, just tracked it down. dogs are stronger though, every day we would check traps. or we wired a trap to a fence so it could slide. we always used cut up news paper, sand its a must, or the sand trickles under te plate. thank you for doing these vidoes, it is very important. so hard to trap now, must register them, and so many other stupid laws. the national parks are the biggest problem , it protects animals we need culled. no one can trap or hunt animals we need to control. yet more and more areas are turned into parks. my way of life, hunting, the gov is trying to remove from our culture. i loved trapping. i love the bush i cannot live without it.

For several years I ran a deer ranch in south Texas. I ran a lot of snares. I normally killed over a 100 coyotes per year. Haven’t seen you use snares out there. Clean out an area and a new group would try to move in. But they had to come under the fence to do so. That’s where the snares work best.

Our son Kurt and wife Esther trap and snare a lot of wolf and coyote in BC. Over here it is illegal, too much other small animals, marsupials, goannas, stock etc.

Top videos man, keep em coming. My 2 young blokes watch them with me in the evenings. Good work on those dogs and other nuisances. My wifes family from near Nundle saw the damage and suffering caused by these things first hand. Keep up the effort. We'll probably never be rid of them but every effort counts.

I’m really sorry to hear about Chocky. I truly sympathise. I’ve watched these videos out of order so I know you get at least two of the offenders. My heart goes out to you both. You have some great looking dogs, do you breed them? I’ve always had border collies, best dogs on earth.Ps. I had trouble getting foxes with a box trap, a cocky told me to put it in the chook yard for a week with my gloves and chook food in it. After a week I put on the soiled gloves and baited the trap just outside the coop. Caught a fox the first night then washed the trap and repeated the process for months; worked every single time.
