Insane dedication, first with the megas and now the g-maxes! This video also reminded me of back in sw/sh I was joining random raids online, and I joined a shiny g-max corviknight raid. I got so hyped after we demolished it, threw an ultra ball (I didn't have a master ball), and failed the capture. Soul crushing. Fortunately I reclaimed it by getting a shiny rookidee in scarlet. Even after that, corvikinght is still one of my favorites lol

And I think Game Freak is aware of the similarity because the way you can ride Snorlax in Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee is similar to how the girls ride Totoro when he takes them for an air ride in the film.
