I honestly tried to do a Shinylocke in arceus. Even wanted to get shiny pokemon for guests. The first shiny I got was the alpha rapidash (I tried for like an hour to see if I could brute force the catch with 0 stars before I googled it and found out I couldn't 😅) Randomly, like hour 12(still in the first area), I leave the 2nd camp in the evening, and a random spawn alpha shiny Crobat ends up in my area. I still play the file from time to time, but I can't keep grinding it like i did in the beginning, so congrats for getting that far.

2:05:10 To answer your question about that Lv. 42 Sudowoodo, it can be level 39-42. You rolled the highest level. Now, if it were Alpha, the level would've been overridden, and it would've been Levels 54-57. Anubis was kind enough to give me the spawn dump text file so I can figure out the range of total spawns per map since I like to figure out roughly how many I've seen when I get my shinies. The maps I've found weren't helpful as it gives the species+evolutions for how many Pokémon spawn. But not the total number that spawns in these maps. So I'll be sifting through that for awhile.

I have a question if someone wouldn't mind answering. What are phases and resets? I assume resets are when you return to the village then back to the sub-region you're hunting in. But I haven't got the slightest clue about what a phase is.

Phases is like if he was on phase 1 its the beginning of the hunt, a reset is him closing the game and opening it again

The phase is like if you catch a shiny that wasn’t your target EG: the snorlax in the beginning, for example if he found and caught a shiny shinx it would go from phase 1 to phase 2
