Howzit bro! I live in Ireland and the only fish worth catching here are bass. But very difficult to catch and I have not been lucky yet. I grew up in KZN and have fond memories of shad and black tails! Your channel is an inspiration and keeps me positive! I am off to Spain soon for holidays and hope to catch some sargo or white bream - also known as black tail. Great channel keep it up!

🎣 some nice blacktails caught and pot food looked nice too, Well done Ryno. I would brush cooking oil on the grid before putting fish in it, ... That should stop pieces of fish sticking onto grid, ? 🎣

Keep old cooking oil, pour some on wood that is burning too slow, that will give the flames a boost for sure,! ... Can pour some on wood few days before the barbeque - braai, to soak in. Hold or put grid over flames to burn crust off, brush clean; brush cooking oil onto grids to prevent pieces of fish (etc) from sticking on. A warm grid may also prevent meat from sticking on.
