Final update: this little reel is the little engine that could kzbin.infoUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e . It performed flawlessly and was easy to adjust drag in the moment while I was battling a 35lb bat ray behemoth. Mind you, this reel is spooled with only 25 lb braid and 25 mono topshot. It's paired with the kastking telescopic heavy power rod and the two work well together. This has now earned my respect and confidence when traveling and fishing. If you have ever hooked into large rays and sharks, you know they pull extremely hard and can run forever! This thing clamped down on the fish and was easy to adjust during the fight. It has a nice decently fast retrieve as well. Twice the fish went on mad runs and I was able to gain back line quickly to avoid spooling.

Love the videos. Just got into bass fishing not to long ago and haven't quite got it the way I like for it to be just yet. Trying to figure out the jigs and swimbait setups. Have had pretty good luck with top water and now Trying to be successful under the water. Any tips to spare and what jigs and swimbait combos to use?? Thanks

I’d go with the quantum pt energy it has two sets of breaking so you can really fine tune it to where you get little to non backlashes but definitely look up a ton of videos on how to adjust and cast a baitcaster before picking one up

Just spent 6 hrs on our private lake in Southern Michigan with my 11 year old son after he spent 80.00 of birthday money and his buddy. These young kids look up to your experience and videos. Maybe dad too. We spent 3 hrs trying everything no snaps. Ole dad tried a wacky rig. Let it set on bottom and jig a couple times like in one your last videos. We caught 15 in last 2 hrs. Dads paying attention to videos...lol Try everything and see what they want. It finally happened. By the way they bought a couple 6th sense baits and there awesome
