I love how you leave in the missed hooksets, makes me feel a little better lol. Every time I fish a frog it is a ton of fun but my hookup ratio drops so much, not sure if I'm doing something wrong or thats just frog fishing.

When you fish a frog, you have to wait till they suck it down to set the hook. When they strike wait 1 or 2 seconds or until you feel the wait of the fish. Also fishing with braid helps a lot because of the increased sensitivity and strength to get those big hooks to penetrate.

Those random snap-offs and backslashes with braid? Any time you set your hook, or get snagged, before yor next cast, try peeling some line off your reel, until you find where the line has dug into itself...

I'm pretty sure you was setting the hook a tiny bit to quick with those ones that you missed.. with top water baits like the frog you have to give them a second when they hit it sometimes to take the bait good and it sounds like someone was busting some caps in the background at one point in the video lol
