I love how you leave in the missed hooksets, makes me feel a little better lol. Every time I fish a frog it is a ton of fun but my hookup ratio drops so much, not sure if I'm doing something wrong or thats just frog fishing.

When you fish a frog, you have to wait till they suck it down to set the hook. When they strike wait 1 or 2 seconds or until you feel the wait of the fish. Also fishing with braid helps a lot because of the increased sensitivity and strength to get those big hooks to penetrate.

Hey Noah I have been fishing with braid recently and when I hook-set my braid digs into itself and messes up the rest of the spool is there any way to prevent that or is that just a byproduct of fishing with braid? I even made sure to spool it on my reel tightly
