In this video we fish, trap and net our way around one of the cleanest creek systems our area has on offer! It was so good to see so many native fish and i really think you will enjoy this video!

Purple spotted gudgeons are some of the most personable fish you can have. They let you pet them and everything

I really want to find the little buggers! Then I have caught most of the gudgeons here! When we catch one I think I'll let him go then buy one from the LFS and make a video putting them in the 6ft

Im in north brisbane and all I can find is empire gudgeons and crimson spots. ( plus mosquito fish ). Put a trap out for 5mins and i have 2 dozen empires

Mosquito fish are the worst! I do get alot of gudgeons around here but mostly fire tail and cox's! Lucky for us the rianbows I seem to find everywhere are ornate (Evans Head reds) but they differ from creek to creek which is cool! Some are red some are blue some are both Keep trying to dude! Jump on Google maps and try find creek's that people might not go to all the time, but that's might be tricky in Brisbane!

Where abouts are you from or where do you find these fish I'm big into what your doing but where I'm from all I get is mosquito fish I have caught a gudeon same as the one you did but and never knew what it was until I seen your video

That's awesome you got Empire Gudgeons! I'm near Byron Bay! Not too over fished lucky for us! We have found spots that are full of mosquito fish and some that have none! Keep hunting around!
