What’s funny is that bad empanada seems to be British or something. In British courts the burden of proof is on the person doing the defaming when it comes to defamation or slander. So you have to prove you didn’t defame someone. Which is why he said that Willymac or similar KZbinr would have to prove that the dude is a terrorist. The problem is if they do go after Willymac, the trial would probably have to be in America where the burden of proof is on the person claiming defamation to prove they were defamed. So the kid would have to prove that he isn’t a terrorist and that Willymac knowingly lied about it.

Free speech is not a uniquely western concept. America does not make up the entire western world, and plenty of western countries crack down on free speech. The UK literally has "verbal assault" on the books. We also have limits here, free speech is not absolute in this country. You can shout your impotent rage into the ether all you want. thing is, he's such a dumbass, but he's so masterfully manipulative to have garnered such a huge audience and have strung them along and lied to them so continuously for so long, that that can only be the act of someone who's cunningly evil, but also cunningly intelligent. like i remember when papa gut reacted to some video about all the lies of hassan that i was thinking 'there is no way someone can be this manipulative and keep up such a web of lies', it's genuinely insane to think how a human can be so deceptive and manipulative.

@@Antares-rt5ub i would not consider either of those countries western countries. you're confusing economically advanced (which only china is out of those two really, and even then it's technically still qualified as a growing country), with 'western countries'. the term comes from the global west, which typically refers to the US, and Europe (bar most of the east). these countries tend to share basic economic and social principles - the other countries you've said do not.
