Catching Huge Atlantic Salmon on The Angler Call of the Wild

Hi Benson. In my experience, the best way to catch big salmon is using a 3/0 with minnow on a float set-up. I know you're still working on getting the level 90/100 rod/reel. When you do you'll be set. That spot is OP. You'll have little trouble catching tons of golds and, if you get a good server, regular diamonds. In the meantime, you don't have to limit yourself to the 2/0 spoon/spinner for salmon. They bite crankbaits and they go to 4/0. Good Luck.

I get that this is a game, but the fact that a 28 lb Atlantic salmon (with is around DOUBLE their IRL average) isn't considered impressive just mildly irks me.

Yeah the do the same thing on the hunter call of the wild the diamonds are so much larger than what a big one would be in real life it’s always been kinda weird to me

@@bensonthehunter4144 actually when it comes to Atlantic Salmon, their upper limits are much MUCH higher then the average (might have to do with their high levels of predation killing many off before they can get to the upper limits) +40lb Atlantic salmon are rare, but far from unheard of, the true giants actually get all the way up to around (and just over) 100lbs!
