I’m not a guide. But I do love putting people on fish and just sit back and watch grab bait and help the youngsters as much as I can. I’ve been pretty blessed with the caliber fish I have caught. And I’m not the greatest of fishermen but it’s always been a part of my life and my 23 year old daughter is always ready to go in the boat. And she is a stick. Awesome Clayton‼️Mondo Walleye. I’m getting pumped for the ice season. I’m building my lake trout setup based on your recommendations. Had a question on the line. On your 30 lb suffix 832 ice braid are you finding spools bigger than 50 yds? That’s all I can find and with a 3000 size reel 50 yds seems pretty shallow even with a 15-20 ft fluorocarbon leader.
@ClaytonSchickOutdoors3 ай бұрын
Just run backing :). Ice braid sells in smaller spools so they can keep the cost down a little bit. I should note also if you are going to fish inside a shack the ice braid isn’t as important.
