Back when I was around Luke’s age my dad was a pilot for Delta,we had a big sport fishing yacht in Galveston,TX. Luke is living the life! I can vouch for that! He’s making memories he will always remember! 😎🤙🏼

And for what it costs a month for slip rental, a house payment is nothing. I'd bet that the 62' boat gets less than .3 miles per gallon. It's not a poor mans sport.

@@sab5017 Owned a 46' Hatteras, with V-12 Detroit Diesels. I got .7 miles per gallon. The 140 mile round trip from Ocean City MD to the Baltimore Canyon used 200 gallons of fuel, with zero trolling. Add another 12 gph for trolling. The only people I know that still own large sport fishing boats use them as a tax write-off. Take clients and prospective clients out, write off the trip and slip fees. The custom manufacturing market and refurbishment could have a slowdown in the near future depending on the election.

His dad needs to teach him how its works when you catch fish ,what you need to do when a fish is on the Deck ,and he needs to stop putting the rods on the side of the boat ! I learned it when I was 6/7 got lots of hidings but his going to get injured and get hooks in him soon ! But that’s the quickest you learn ! I could see the poeple on the boat picked it up a few times and it’s his dad’s responsibility because they don’t want to be rude with him !

My grandfather and father have been taking me fishing In those waters since I was 4 years old. I have been to the top of Barnaget lighthouse. Used to go to LBi all the time when I was a kid

Ive fished in the gulf off of pensacola set the Fla blue marlin record in the mid 80s. We caught sailfish white marlin tuna wahoo dolphin. I say that because I know good people when I see them. You were blessed to take your son on that boat with those folks. Great video and keep it coming.

What a trip ! And boy did Luke have fun! He is always such a good sport and acts so grown up ! I found your channel about a month ago and have been watching every day ! I am also from Jupiter , Fla. I grew up inJupiter Farms when all the roads were still dirt. I lived on Alexander Run , 3 miles down on the end. I graduated in 81 from JHS. I was on the track / CC team for all four years . I think I even still hold the mile record. I grew up fishing since I was tiny. Just love it and love being out on a boat. Just got back from Edgewater, fla seeing my parents. Told my dad all about your channel. He would love it. I would love to go fishing out on the ocean like you guys do ! My hubby and I are both retired Army. I want to thank you for all you do for veterans groups. We now live in NC and have a horse farm and host lots of different groups. We are Silk Purse Farm Aberdeen NC. I remember going on fishing trips with my father when I was younger all the way up until he passed away yrs ago rip pops. I love seeing the same thing Luke and you having a great time he will never forget about that I never forget about the things my dad did with me or taught me. I was fortunate to have an amazing father and mother both worked hard great jobs spoiled me and my siblings your doing a great job Gabe with both your sons time goes by so fast.
